Pregnancy seems to be a time of heightened spiritual awareness for many women. It’s not unusual for pregnant women to dream about their pregnancies or babies, to notice signs which serve to guide them in their decisions or prepare them for what is to come, or even to sense things within themselves as a powerful inner knowingness -- a knowingness sometimes so strong, it leaves no room for doubts.

We are in the process of collecting stories about women's spiritual pregnancy experiences for our books, articles, research, and workshops. In doing so, we've discovered that many women have a story to share! So far, some have shared with us their dreams from early in their pregnancies which let them know they were pregnant, or that they were having twins. Others have shared their prophetic dreams about the appearance, personality, or gender that their infant would have, or that prepared them for complications during pregnancy or delivery. Some moms told us about “signs” or “messages” which let them know various things about their pregnancies, or guided them in their decisions. Others told us about times when they sensed something within themselves, as a strong inner knowingness or intuition. A few moms even told us about special Soul to Soul communications they'd had with their unborn child!
